APM pledged to enhance education in the Country

President Peter Muntharika has today, 8th October officially launch the construction 250 Secondary Schools at the event held at Kawale Community Day Secondary school in the Capital, Lilongwe.

Speaking after the ground breaking, Muntharika said it is the wish of his government to see every child attaining secondary education as well as reaching the College education level, as of now only 37 percent of Primary School leavers reach Secondary School level.

“With the construction of the 250 Secondary Schools, this country will never be the same. At the Moment It is only 37 percent primary school leavers who are able to access secondary school education, but my government is committed to make it 100 percent,” said Muntharika.

President Muntharika further said his government will continue constructing Technical Colleges as well as expanding Public Colleges in order to enhance education sector in the country.

He added that it is his governments vision for every School in the country to have well-trained teachers, electricity and tall mark road.

“I will continue doing developmental activities across the country, I do what I promised, I am a president for everyone whether you support the government or the opposition,” He said.

Government will construct the Secondary Schools with financial support from the people of the United States of America.
