Ministry of Health and Population Services has warned all travellers who have been to hot spot Countries where the COVID 19 has been confirmed that they risks been taken to a special facility should they don’t go into isolation themselves.

Director of Health in the Ministry of Health told local media recently that even though people who are jetting in the country from corona virus hotspot Countries are allowed to go for self-quarantine government shall not hesitate to move them into a special facility should they disregard the ministry’s conditions.

Meanwhile latest reports indicates that a Man who a 34 year old man Chinese National has been put in isolation in Kasungu District after he had developed some symptoms of the virus.

While in Lilongwe unconfirmed reports indicate that one of Lilongwe Based Hotel is alleged to keeping in isolation another Chinese National in one of its rooms after he developed signs linked to COVID 19.

Workers at hotel pressed a panic button alerting the country of the suspected case at the hotel.

“He arrived in the country yesterday and is being kept room number 8615 floor number 6 the block where there’s a reception “reads one of the messages purportedly from one of the workers at the hotel.

Our effort to talk to the Hotels manager proved futile.
