
MPC bus claims yet another life in a road accident

The Malawi Post Corporation (MPC) has claimed yet another life in a road accident that happened on 31st December 2020 at Nsipe in Ntcheu District.
The deceases is Madalitso Kamanga of 27 years who hails from Mutchaya Village, Traditional Authority Mkengamzoma in Nkhatabay District.

On the fateful day, the bus left Blantyre for Karonga on a night route. Upon reaching Nsipe around 10 pm, the driver lost control of the bus due to seeding and rolled the bus killing one passage.
The bus had 48 passengers on board including the crew. 10 of the 48 passengers were injured and are currently receiving treatment at Ntheu District Hospital according to Hastings Chigalu, the Ntcheu Police Publicity.

MPC bus soon after launching its services was involved in accident claim life of an immigration department officer in the northern region.
